Young Professionals Council
The Young Professionals Council brings together young professionals who are interested in social activities and fundraising opportunities that support the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH).
Mission
Specifically, our mission is to provide opportunities for young leaders in the community to contribute to the sustainability of BMSCH. Members are aligned with the objectives of the organizations and exist to promote advocacy, philanthropy and service in support of the RWJ University Hospital Foundation.
Events
The YPC hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Activities range from casual weeknight social gatherings to major fundraisers. Each event raises awareness of and enthusiasm for the BMSCH.

Above: Co-Chairs Liz Chebli and Mitra Corral (left) receive donations from the South Brunswick Girls Soccer Team (right) on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Many of the toys that were donated were wrapped and handed out by Santa himself during the annual holiday party for the patients and families. Other toys were placed at each patient’s bedside on Christmas Eve by “elves”. The additional toys will be used in the playrooms and throughout the year in various ways.
