The Foundation offers its supporters a wide array of giving programs:

Tribute Giving...A Thoughtful Way to Say, "I Care!"

Showing people how much you care is a special part of life, yet finding just the right gift to express your feelings can sometimes be difficult. For these reasons, The RWJ University Hospital Foundation has created a program of Tribute Giving.

Every year, hundreds of people make commemorative gifts to the Foundation. Many such gifts celebrate a momentous occasion in a loved one’s, friend's or colleague’s life: the birth of a child… a wedding, anniversary or special birthday…graduation…a new home…a new job, promotion or retirement…a special award. No matter what the occasion, such gifts remind people that they have been remembered in a thoughtful way. Equally thoughtful are the many gifts we receive that honor the memory of a loved one. Some of our donors tell us that they receive deep satisfaction in making memorial gifts because they know that, in addition to perpetuating the memory of the deceased, they are also helping to enhance the quality of health care for the people of New Jersey.

Whether your intention is to honor or memorialize, when tribute gifts are received, the name of the donor, the date of the gift, and the individual or event to be commemorated are inscribed in the Commemorative Register, a handsome, leather-bound volume on permanent display in the Main Lobby of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. In addition, the individual or the family named by the donor receives a special card acknowledging that the gift has been made and he has been recorded in the Register.

What a thoughtful way to say, "I care!"
