AIDS Fund
This fund supports the activities of the AIDS Clinic at the Hospital
and is used for patient support.

Created in 1994, this fund allows for the purchase of museum-quality
posters and prints for patient rooms and public spaces at the Hospital.
The Foundation also accepts gifts-in-kind of art.

Bone Marrow Transplantation Center Fund
This fund supports the purchase of equipment and amenities for
patients in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center at the Hospital.

The Heart Center of New Jersey Fund
These two separate funds support patients being treated in the
Heart Center of New Jersey, which brings together all facets of
cardiac care. The Cardiac Fund is specifically geared toward special
projects and programs for cardiac patients - primarily open heart
surgery patients - and their families. The overall Heart Center
Fund supports the more general activities of the Center.

Cancer
Hospital of New Jersey at RWJUH Fund
Currently under construction, this 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art
facility will bring the hospital's existing cancer services under
one roof. Funding will support modifications such as an enhanced
Radiology Oncology Department with a magnetic resonance imaging
machine, linear accelerator and simulator, private rooms for medical
oncology patients and an expanded emergency department.

Health Promotion Program
A nationally recognized program of outreach into the Greater
New Brunswick community, the Community Health Promotion Program
provides educational programs, health screenings and social services
to the community.

This fund supports program and equipment needs of the Dialysis
Unit at the Hospital, including amenities for the outpatient dialysis

Squad Fund
These two funds are directed toward program and equipment needs
in the hospital's Emergency Department and the needs of the EMS
team.

Health Professions Scholars Program Fund
A joint program of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and
the New Brunswick Board of Education, the Health Professions Scholar
Program supports talented public school students from 7th through
12th grades in their education in the medical sciences.

Hematology/Oncology
Fund
This fund supports the needs of the staff in the Medical Oncology
Unit as well as the physicians in the Hematology Unit. Proceeds
also provide continuing education support for the nurses on the
Hematology unit and for small equipment purchases and amenities
for oncology patients and their families.

Care Fund
This fund supports the activities of the Home Care and Hospice
Department staff and may be directed for the purchase of equipment
and supplies as well as for direct patient care.

Institute
for Healthcare Research Fund (IHCR)
This fund has two purposes: (1) to make small start-up grants
available to non-physician researchers for programs to enhance the
quality of patient care; and (2) to support the salary of a nurse
research scholar in the area of oncology.

Supports staff needs and equipment purchases.

This fund supports the program and research needs of the Neurology

Established in 1995, this fund supports the activities of the
Neuromuscular & ALS Center at the hospital, primarily for research
purposes.

Care Fund
This fund provides support for the Pastoral Care Department,
including maintenance of the Chapel for All Faiths at the hospital.
It also supports the stipends of the pastoral care residents who
tend to the spiritual needs of patients and their families.

Unit Fund
This fund supports the program and equipment needs of the Trauma
Unit staff which sees approximately 600 patients per year.

Women's
Wellness & Health Care Connection Fund
Initiated in 1996, the Women's Wellness & Health Care Connection
at the hospital is dedicated to the enhancement of a woman's overall
well-being. Its primary goal is to provide women with health information
and clinical services that promote healthy living practices. The
WHCC is a resource for women seeking advice on such practices, requesting
a medical referral or looking to improve their overall health and
well-being. The fund supports the WHCC's many activities throughout
the year.

The
Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson
University Hospital Fund
This fund has been established to receive gifts in support of
the construction and equipment needs of the Children's Hospital.

The Child Life Center Fund provides support for the Child Life
Program, the non-clinical program which is geared toward the psycho-social
needs of our young patients.

of the Robert Wood Johnson Pediatric AIDS Program as well as the
