The RWJ University Hospital Foundation wants to make giving as easy as possible for our donors. For this reason, we have created many convenient ways for you to support Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

General Information Concerning Foundation Funds

The Foundation Board of Trustees creates new special purpose funds by resolution. With some exceptions, new funds are created when gifts - either single or aggregate - reach a level of $10,000.

Endowed (named) funds are also created by Foundation Board resolution when gifts - again, either single or aggregate - reach a level sufficient to generate in excess of $1,000 in annual interest earned (generally $25,000 or more). Interest earned on the investment is available for expenditure by the unit for which the endowed fund has been created.

In all cases, the Foundation staff is attentive to the needs of the donors and/or their families. Special arrangements can be made and new funds created to support any area of need at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital designated by the donor.
